Today, April 12th is the anniversary of Vostok 1 I decided to do a couple of recordings to try and contact Yuri Gagarin. I asked for Major Gagarin and asked if our Technicians could assist him to reply in English. In the first recording, I ask what he thinks of modern space exploration, I get the response ‘I am happy, I am proud of us’ This voice does sound like Major Gagarin. For my second question, I say it is an honour to contact him, and what does he think about being able to communicate with us – in this response I hear ‘Thank you, Your method is confusing, let me check it, this is contact’. Obviously, I have no way of proving that this is Yuri Gagarin, but the voice does sound remarkably similar.
