This is a VERY significant piece of information historically, because it is still in question as to who betrayed Noor Khan. There were two suspects, now we know which one was guilty.
Suspect number one: was the Special Operations Executive (SOE) officer Henri Déricourt, either because he was a double-agent or because he acted for MI6 as a faux double-agent in order to gain the Germans’ trust and secure further intelligence.
Suspect number two: was a French woman Renée Garry, the organiser of Noor’s radio network, who fell out with Noor because Garry’s lover, SOE agent France Antelme, left her for Noor. The Nazis supposedly paid Garry 100,000 Francs for information on her whereabouts.
